🥚Egg Hatching & Breeding
There are two types of eggs. Learn about the difference between the eggs.
Once you have your Eggs from the Genesis sale, you will get to interact with our smart contract to start the hatching process. You will stake the Egg NFT. Our algorithm will calculate the egg color and the amount of time you have it staked. The egg needs to be staked for 504 hours or 21 days before becoming unstaked (hatched) into a Monster. You can speed this process up with an incubator to 252 hours or 10.5 days.
Same hatching process applies to next generation eggs that result from breeding.
Hatch Your Eggs
504 hours or 21 days is required to hatch the Genesis Egg. Once your egg is hatched a Monster will appear. This monster will have a class, rarity and a name.
Speed Up Hatching Process
Shorten the hatching process to 252 hours or 10.5 days by using an incubator.
Type 1: Genesis Eggs
These eggs are initially sold on AtomicHub to start the monster creation process. Genesis eggs have more power and increased chance of a higher rarity monster.
Do not forget to reveal skills of your genesis monsters in your inventory.
Type 2: Breeding Eggs
Eggs are created when two monsters start the breeding process. You can breed any two monsters, but once a monster produces 7 children, they will not be able to breed ever again.
Breeding Mode
Genesis monsters have no parents. Next generation monsters have parents. Breeding has some rules involved:
Standard 21 days to hatch an egg.
Speed up the process to 10.5 days with incubator.
Each monster can only breed 7x.
Breeding does cost $MOFI. Check MOFI token page for more details.
You can’t breed monsters that share the same parent or can’t breed with your parents. Inbreeding is NOT allowed.
The monsters you breed define the outcome and chances of the new monster born with a certain probability matrix.
How to Start the Hatching Process?
In our newly released UI you will have 3 tabs in the hatching process:
Unhatched - Eggs in your inventory that have not started the hatching process.
Hatching - Eggs that are currently going through the process.
Hatched - Eggs are ready to be claimed and to find out what your monster is.
